Finding Your Radio ID

For most radios, the radio ID will be displayed by tuning to Ch. 0.
If you tune to Ch.0 and do not see your Radio ID (also called
an ESN or RID). we can help you find it.

If you're having trouble locating your satellite radio's ID (also known as an ESN or RID) after tuning to Channel 0, don't worry! Here's how to find it, based on your vehicle's manufacturer:

For Specific Manufacturers:

  • Aston Martin: Access the radio's MENU and navigate to the Sirius menu. Look for Advanced settings where your Radio ID should appear.

  • BMW:

    • 2003 – Present: While in satellite radio mode, hold the SAT button for over 3 seconds until the Radio ID is shown.

    • 2004 – Present: In satellite radio mode, scroll right to find the Options screen. Select Manage Subscription to view your Radio ID.

  • Ferrari: Switch to SAT mode on your radio, then press the MENU button. Choose Settings from the screen, and your audio Radio ID (along with traffic and video IDs) will be displayed.

  • Ford & Lincoln:

    • Sync 4 w/360L: Tune to Channel 0. On the SXM Now Playing screen, find the Avatar logo, then scroll to Help and Support.

    • SYNC 3 / Select MY20 Vehicles: Tune to Channel 0. Go to Apps, then Sirius Travel Link, and select Subscription.

    • Legacy Models: Tune to Channel 0. You may need to simultaneously press and hold AUX and Preset 1, or simultaneously press and hold Sirius and Preset 1. Alternatively, select MENU and use the touchscreen to choose SYSTEM INFO.

  • Jaguar:

    • XK and XF: From SAT Options, select SAT Information. Your Call Center number and Radio ID will be shown.

    • XJ: Select the Options icon, then the More icon to display your Radio ID.

    • 2003MY–2007MY: Simply tune to Channel 0 to see the Radio ID.

    • 2010MY: On the touchscreen, select Settings, then SAT information. The Call Center number and Radio ID will appear.

  • Land Rover: On the touchscreen, select Settings, then SAT options, followed by SAT info. Your Radio ID and the Call Center phone number will be displayed.

  • Maybach: Select the Audio option on your radio, then SatRadio. From the submenu, choose Service to view your Radio ID.

  • Mazda:

    • Most Models Prior to 2014: If your radio has an ESN button, hold it down for approximately 1.5 seconds until the Radio ID appears. For Mazda3, select Sirius or SiriusXM and tune to Channel 0 for the 12-digit Radio ID.

    • Mazda Connect System (Select 2014 or later models): Select "XM" from audio sources and tune to Channel 0 in the channel list to display the 8-digit Radio ID.

  • Mercedes-Benz: Select Audio, then SatRadio. From the submenu, choose Service to see the Call Center phone number and Radio ID.

  • Mini Cooper: Rotate the right-hand rotary button and select any unactivated channel. The Radio ID should then display.

  • Mitsubishi: Press the SAT button on your radio to display the Radio ID.

  • Rolls Royce: On the Control display, select Radio, then Satellite Radio, and then Category. Select any channel to view the Call Center number and Radio ID.

  • Volvo:

    • 2005–2006 MY: Turn the Source knob to SAT Settings and select it. Then turn the Source knob to Sirius ID and select it to display the Radio ID.

    • 2007–2009 MY: Press the MENU button, scroll down, and select Sirius Settings. Then select Sirius ID to see the Radio ID.
